History
In 1979, George Yarbro created Seawide Marine Distribution because he saw the need for wholesale distribution in the marine electronics industry. George realized that it was too costly for manufacturers to supply every account that needed access to their products, but also knew that everyone needs to be competitive in their markets. Seawide Distribution was founded to supply marine electronics at true wholesale prices and provide industry knowledge with personal service from a company with high integrity.
Today, Mike Yarbro continues to build on his father’s foundation. Seawide Distribution has become one of the largest wholesale distributors of marine electronics, consumer electronics and electrical products in the U.S. with four locations nationwide carrying over 16,000 products from over 75 vendors.
