History
Seawide Marine Distribution began in 1979 when George Yarbro saw the need for a quality wholesale distributor in the marine electronics industry. George realized that it was too costly for many manufacturers to supply every account that needed access to their products, but also knew that everyone needed to be competitive within their markets. Seawide was established to supply dealers and installers with marine electronics at true wholesale prices and provide expertise and personal service from a company people could trust.
Today, Mike Yarbro continues to build on his father’s foundation. With four locations nationwide, Seawide Distribution has become one of the largest wholesale distributors of marine electronics, outdoor electronics, and nautical electrical products in the U.S., carrying more than 5,000 products from over 50 vendors.
